Zoogenic succession - change of biocenoses caused by mass development of animals of one or several species. Often zoogenic succession can be a consequence of intensive development of pathogens of living organisms.

A change in vegetation caused by an unusually high impact of animals, e.g., mass reproduction, overgrazing, introduction of large amounts of waste products.
