Cold-loving fish - a group of fish that live in reservoirs with cold oxygenated water (whitefish, char, trout, nelma, etc.). The main physiological processes - feeding and digestion, growth and development, reproduction - take place in the cold season. At high temperatures, above 20°C, their activity decreases. In winter they do not go into hibernation, some species are able to reproduce.
