• Casting seine

Casting seine - a decoiling fishing gear. Casting seine is a net wall, planted on a set, of which the upper one is equipped with floats and the lower one with sinkers. Side parts of the seine are called wings. One wing, which is used for sweeping, is called bezhnoe, the other, which is held near the shore, is called spot. In the middle part of the seine there is a net bag - a motnya. There are sea, lake and river cast seines. They are divided into symmetrical (equal-winged) and asymmetrical (different-winged), and by the presence of a skein - into skeins and unwrapped. A lake seine usually opens the entire depth of a water body, a river seine - not more than 2/3 of the river width.
